He is involved in all stages of project development including land discovery and lease negotiations, electric utility grid capacity determination, community engagement with local constituents and jurisdictional leaders on zoning and other land development matters, project feasibility analysis, and investor financing.
As Project and Business Manager at Commercial Solar Guy, LLC, Richelle manages the development of commercial solar energy projects including project management, client servicing, sales support, marketing, and business operations. She brings nearly 20 years’ experience working for investment management, real estate development and financial service companies.
As CSG’s Senior PV Design Engineer, Benjie oversees system design of rooftop and ground mount commercial and utility-scale solar energy systems for landowners and companies throughout the U.S. He has 20 years design, civil engineering, land, and project management experience working for major EPCs in the U.S. and Philippines. Benjie is specifically experienced with zoning regulation interpretation and adept at value engineering to maximize system size, efficiency, and return on investment. He is a licensed Construction Supervisor (aka GENERAL CONTRACTOR) in Massachusetts and Rhode Island with OSHA certification and develops operational procedures and quality and safety standards for every project along with technical direction and support to installation teams throughout project development.
Mark is a Licensed PE with a background in mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering. Throughout his career, he has design engineered and permitted systems for wastewater, nuclear, and solar energy. Mark designs CSG’s electrical one-line solar PV system diagrams, site plans, and other engineering documents required of the connecting electrical utility. He is licensed in the states of Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia, and has an engineering degree with a concentration in Renewable Energy from Penn State University.
Thomas has 20+ years’ experience in the energy and solar industry where he started his career with electric utilities before working with solar EPC´s and developers. His solar PV experience began in 2001 with the development of more than 40 PV projects on schools in Germany. He has extensive international solar development experience and has been instrumental in developing utility-scale solar PV projects including one of the world’s largest solar power projects – the 1.65GW Benban Solar Park in Egypt. Thomas and his team at Gutami Holding have partnered with CSG Developers to develop community distributed generation and utility-scale solar PV projects in NY, PA, NJ, and other states along the East Coast and across the U.S.
As CSG’s utility-scale and community solar project development manager, Shelim works closely with CSG’s development team to oversee U.S. projects from feasibility to final offtaker. He has spent several years working in the financial and renewable energy industries including experience developing strategic alliances and influential partnerships for the development of sustainable energy projects in developing and emerging markets throughout the world. He has developed strong external relationships with key stakeholders throughout the supply and development chain including equity partners, senior debt providers and export credit agencies. His expertise lies in developing viable renewable energy opportunities in the areas of new market and strategic business development, team management, PR, policy reform, marketing, contract negotiation, financial analysis, legal and technical oversight, and developing best business practices and his experience spans various renewable energy technologies including hydrogen, solar, wind, hydro, geothermal and biomass.
John, known online as “The Commercial Solar Guy,” has greater than a decade of experience on the roof, selling, and developing solar power projects.
